Florida vs. Georgia Preview
The Florida Gators are set to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in what should be a compelling
game from start to finish. Both of these teams have looked impressive as of late, which should make their game all the more meaningful and entertaining. This SEC clash has a lot of implications for both teams.
The Gators come into this game with an overall record of 7-0 and 6-0 in the SEC. They the number two team in the nation right now, and they are coming off a dominating victory over South Carolina with a final score 44-11. In their win, Jeff Driskel went on to score 4 touchdowns. It was a sterling performance
from Driskel, and he will need to have the same type of outing against Georgia if they want to keep their momentum going.
Georgia comes into this game being the 10 ranked team in the nation. They are 6-1 and 4-1 in the SEC, and they are coming off a narrow victory against Kentucky with a final score of 29-24. In their win, Aaron Murray went on to throw for 427 yards and had 4 touchdowns. In terms of receiving, Tavarres King went on to grab two touchdowns and had 188 yards in receiving. This dynamic
duo between King and Murray will need to keep up their efforts in hopes of pulling off the upset.
This SEC match up is a pivotal one for both teams. For the Gators, they will need to keep up their fast paced offense and score early and often. Driskel will also need to make smart decision when throwing deep down field in order to limit his turnovers. If they can do this, then they have a great shot at remaining unbeaten this season.
For Georgia, they will need to control the clock with their running game. Murray and King will also need to be on the same page in order to exploit the deep threat. Their defense will also need to contain this high powered Florida offense in order to score the upset.
