Once an NFL lineman career is over they tend to continue to eat the same high caloric diet that they had while playing. But there is no need for their bodies to have all of these extra calories. So in essence some of these big offensive and defensive linemen in the NFL tend to quite literally, "eat themselves to death." I even think he owned a burger franchise if I'm not mistaken.
