Russell Westbrook may be playing his way out of OKC.
After struggling to get his offense going against the Memphis Grizzlies, in which Westbrook finished without a field goal, going 0-13, the point guard got into it with the team's superstar Kevin Durant.According to RealGM, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant had to be separated after getting into a heated argument late in the second quarter of the OKC - Memphis game.
Westbrook was looking to get his teammates involved after struggling to find his offense, and with three and a half minutes left to go before the half, found Thabo Sefolosha open in the corner for three. Sefolosha, however passed up the shot, which fumed Westbrook and thus in turn made his say "shoot the (expletive) ball." After Durant got fouled, him and Sefolosha tried to calm Westbrook down but it didn't work as his emotions came out once again on the bench a minute later.
Soon, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were seeing shouting at each other, which led to them having to be separated. The on going sage between Westbrook and Durant has been going on since last year's playoffs in which Westbrook on many occasions had more shot attempts than the two time scoring champion Durant. Many have speculated where this could be the last straw which drives Westbrook out of Oklahoma City.
