Barring any setbacks, catcher Jonathan Lucroy is expected to rejoin the Brewers when they return home to play the Nationals on Thursday.

Lucroy, who went on the 15-day disabled list May 28 with a fracture fifth metacarpal in his right hand, will continue his rehab assignment today with Triple-A Nashville.

Lucroy is 7-for-16 (.471) with a double and three RBIs in five games so far on his rehab assignment.

"I still told him that I want him, when he comes back, to feel that he is going to be productive when he steps in the batter's box," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. "And as long as he feels like he's productive doing that, we can activate him."
